Address: 10 Wellington Quay, Dublin, Dublin 2, Ireland
The Workman’s Club is Dublin’s
newest live performance venue, situated at 10 Wellington Quay, beside the world famous rock ‘n’
roll hotel, The Clarence, in the heart of Dublin’s Temple Bar district.
The Workman’s Club has a simple mission – to provide a space where bands, musicians, artists and independent thinkers can witness their ideas come to life. From down and dirty rock gigs, to intimate acoustic performances, multimedia takeovers to diverse indie club nights, The Workman’s Club will be a haven for those who create music and those who consume it.
The building has existed on this site for over 160 years and from 1888 to 2003 was the home of the original Dublin Workingmen’s Club. Its personality has been lovingly preserved and complimented and its original features are the focal point of each floor.
Three parts of The Workman’s Club are now open for your pleasure. The Venue – a 300 capacity belter of a room, The Venue Bar – which will be exclusively for gig goers when there is a show on, but open to everyone else when there isn’t or when the show is over and The First Floor Bar, which is open to all and sundry.
We are currently open from 6pm ’til very late most nights, 7 days a week!
